Escorts Limited, a leading manufacturer of critical railway components since the last over 40 years, has signed an exclusive agreement for the supply of disc brake system for railway coaches with DAKO-CZ a.s. of Czech Republic, a world renowned company in railway braking equipment systems. Through this partnership, Escorts will be able to offer cutting edge technology and world-class disc braking systems for LHB design ‘High Speed Passenger Coaches’ of the Indian Railways. Speaking on the agreement, Vikram Singhal, Executive Director & Business Head for Escorts Engineering Division noted, “Escorts has been playing a significant role in the growth and modernization of Indian Railways.
